What to include in your message
To get the most useful reply, please include:
- Subject prefix — e.g. [Anmeldung], [Kindergeld], [Legal], [Accessibility]
- URL of the page your message refers to (if any)
- A short description of your situation — country of residence, status (newcomer / long-term resident), and what the question is
- Do not send sensitive personal data (passport numbers, national IDs, financial details); for those cases, contact the relevant authority directly
Response time
We aim to reply within 7 business days. During larger content updates a reply may take a bit longer — thanks for your patience.
What we cannot do
Out of respect for licensed professionals and to protect the integrity of the project, we cannot:
- Provide individual legal, tax, or immigration advice for your specific case — that is the role of a licensed lawyer, tax adviser, or the relevant authority
- Mediate with public authorities (booking appointments, filing applications on your behalf)
- Guarantee the speed or outcome of any procedure with any institution
