Complete guide for all 6 Serbian diplomatic-consular missions in Germany — addresses, appointments, documents, fees and practical tips.
Book an appointment online or by phone
Visit the website of the nearest mission (links below) and book an appointment for the consular service "POA certification". Book at least 2-4 weeks in advance — especially in Frankfurt and Munich.
Prepare the POA text in Serbian
The consulate certifies your signature — it does not write the text for you. Bring the finished POA text in Serbian (Cyrillic or Latin), 2 printed copies. Use our generator or hire a lawyer.
Come with correct documentation
Valid Serbian passport (original), printed POA (2 copies), and optionally subject documents (property extract, account number) if referenced in the text. Do not sign the POA before arriving — you sign before the consular officer.
Pay the consular fee
The fee for POA certification is 30-50 EUR depending on the consulate and number of documents. Check accepted payment methods (cash, card).
Receive the certified POA the same day
Consular certification is completed the same day — no waiting for the document. After certification, immediately send the original to Serbia to your representative via courier with tracking.
Do not sign the POA before the consulate visit!
Must be valid — check the expiry date. Serbian ID card is not sufficient. Bring a photocopy of the passport as well.
In Serbian, printed, unsigned. One copy is kept by the consulate for archives, the other is returned to you with certification.
Property extract (for real estate), vehicle registration (for car), bank account details (for banking operations). The consulate does not verify them, but they are useful for accurately completing the POA text.
JMBG and address of the representative must be in the POA text. Verify this data with the representative before the consulate visit.
